Business Administration Apprenticeships

   
What levels are available? This course is available at Levels 2 and 3
Who is this course for?
These courses have been designed for work-based learners. The course develops both practical and knowledge required to work in the professional businesses. You must have a work placement and attend college one day per week, minimum 30 hours per week
What will I learn?
You will need to upgrade your English, Maths and ICT if you have not achieved GCSE grade C or above in the last 5 years
At Level 2 your course may include:


  • Improve own performance
  • Work in a business environment
  • Communicate in a business environment
  • Use electronic message systems
  • Use a diary system
  • Maintain stationery
  • Employment rights and responsibilities

At Level 3 your course may include:

  • Manage own performance
  • Solve business problems
  • Use a diary system
  • Develop a presentation
  • Produce business documents
  • Contribute to innovation and change
When will I need to attend? Each level will last approximately 13 months
How much will it cost me? 17-23 year olds on an apprenticeship will pay no tuition fees. If you are over 24 years there is currently no cost for level 2 apprenticeships however there is an advanced government student loan facility available. What do I need? A text book, dictionary and course stationery are required.
Can I get financial help? If you are over 24 years old and applying for a Level 3 course, a student loan system is in operation.
What can I do after the course? At level 2 you will be able to become a receptionist or office junior or progress onto a level 3 full time course or an apprenticeship. At level 3 you will be able to become an administrator, office supervisor, or progress onto a level 4 course or into management or AAT.
